June 5, 2008... It is now 26 years since Jorge & I got married... and this year, we started off the celebration the day before, spending a very "private" moment with just the two of us, Rachel & Sam, and Joel & Melissa, at the Naples Islands in Long Beach, California.  It was so much fun!!  Our gondolier, John belted out a big "VOLARE" under the bridge, it was actually very romantic   And I tell you... this wonderful man (Jorge, that is, not the gondolier) "still" amazes me ... how he manages to put up with my "inanities" (and I have plenty!) is beyond me... and why I put up with his is because I know he really loves me  ...  

The following evening, I let Rachel make the reservations for mine and Jorge's dinner (alone) and she sent us to CA' DEL SOLE in Toluca Lake where the food, service and ambiance is nothing less than perfect... (pictures from the restaurant posted with the Gondola pics).  And to top it all off, she (dear Rachel) outdid herself again by conspiring with the maitre 'd and had the sweetest smelling red roses and a beautiful cake brought to our table signed by her, personally.  I still don't know how she snuck into the restaurant or when... but that was sooo sweet, thanks Honey!  And thank you, Papa Love!! Happy Anniversary!!  Rocky loves you soooooo much!!!
